Terms of use.

The terms for playing Dungeon in Nine Tiles and using this website.

Effective September 26, 2026

The quick version

Chapter I is free. One purchase unlocks the full dungeon, and optional outfit packs are cosmetic only. Every purchase is a one-time purchase: no subscriptions, no consumables and no in-game currency. Refunds go through the store you bought from. Your progress is saved only on your device.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the game Dungeon in Nine Tiles and to this website, both provided by Arc & Logic. By using them, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you are too young to enter into an agreement where you live, a parent or guardian must review these terms and approve your use and any purchases.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Google Play and the Apple App Store apply their own terms to downloads and payments. For downloads from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where applicable. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights that the law says cannot be removed.

2. Your license to play

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to play the game for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms. The game’s rooms, art, code and other content belong to us or our licensors; downloading the game does not transfer ownership of them. Third-party software, the font and the music in the game are used under the licenses listed on our licenses page.

Please don’t use the game to break the law, distribute unauthorized copies, or get around purchase verification. These restrictions apply only where the law allows, and do not limit rights the law specifically gives you.

3. Purchases

Chapter I is free to play. The game offers these optional purchases through Google Play or the Apple App Store:

  • Full Dungeon: unlocks all seven chapters, the heroes Pip and Brin, and Delve mode.
  • Outfit packs: change how the heroes look. They are cosmetic only and have no effect on play.

All of them are one-time, non-consumable purchases. They are not subscriptions. The game sells no consumable items, no virtual currencies and no loot boxes, and shows no ads. The store shows the price in your currency and asks you to confirm before you pay.

A purchase gives you a license to the unlocked content, tied to the store account you bought it with. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred to another player. This does not limit any refund or remedy the law gives you.

4. Saves & restoring purchases

Your progress and settings are saved only on your device. Uninstalling the game deletes them from your device, and progress does not sync between devices. On iOS, your own iCloud or device backup may include them; Android backups do not. We cannot recover lost progress.

You can restore your purchases with Shop → Restore Purchases or Settings → Game → Restore Purchases, signed in to the same Google or Apple account you used to buy them. Restoring needs a connection to the store. Purchases do not carry over between Google Play and the App Store.

5. Refunds & purchase problems

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its policies and your legal rights. See Google Play’s refund help or Apple’s refund help. A refunded or cancelled purchase may no longer unlock its content.

If something you bought does not unlock, first try restoring your purchases. If it still doesn’t appear, email games@arcandlogic.com with the item, the store, the date and the order number. Please don’t send payment-card details, and don’t buy the item again while a purchase is still pending.

6. Updates & availability

We may update the game to fix problems and improve it. Features may differ between platforms and versions. We will respect your rights in content you have already bought, and give notice of material changes or of the game being discontinued where the law requires it.

You can stop using the game at any time. We may revise these terms; if we do, we will update the effective date and give additional notice or ask for your agreement where the law requires it.

7. Your legal rights

We work to keep the game running well, but cannot promise that it will be free of errors on every device. To the extent allowed by law, the game and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”. Any warranties, consumer protections and remedies that the law in your country makes mandatory still apply.

These terms do not exclude any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. This does not stop you from using any store, regulator or court remedy available to you.
